The Riyadh Dodgeball Championship is set to kick off this Thursday at the Green Halls, running from May 7 to May 9, with the participation of 54 teams and 430 players, competing for a total prize pool of SAR 50,000.
The tournament will feature multiple categories, including men, women, and under-15 divisions. Competitions will be held across several formats: Men’s Foam Ball, Men’s Cloth Ball, Under-15 Foam Ball, Women’s Foam Ball, and Women’s Cloth Ball.
This championship is part of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation’s May calendar, which includes a variety of training and competitive events across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. These initiatives aim to develop players’ skills and uncover new talent.
The Saudi Dodgeball Federation continues its efforts to expand the sport’s reach, which has seen significant growth recently, as preparations build toward the upcoming Dodgeball World Cup scheduled to be held in Thailand at the end of this year.
