The Saudi Federation for Dodgeball, in collaboration with the Saudi Federation for University Sports, organized a Ramadan evening at the sports club hall of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University on Sunday. The event was attended by His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, Dr. Khalid Al-Mazini, Chairman of the Saudi Federation for University Sports, and a significant number of members from both federations.
The Ramadan evening was held as part of the partnership agreement between the Saudi Dodgeball Federation and the Saudi Federation for University Sports. This initiative aligns with the Saudi Dodgeball Federation’s efforts to collaborate with various entities across the Kingdom to promote the sport of Dodgeball and contribute to achieving Vision 2030’s objectives in the sports sector by enhancing and spreading physical activity within the community.
During the event, female students were introduced to the sport of Dodgeball. The evening also featured various sports activities and recreational matches with the participation of members from both federations. Following the activities, several students expressed their interest in practicing the sport and were subsequently registered, reflecting the growing interest and expansion of the sport’s base in the Kingdom.
Notably, the Saudi Dodgeball Federation aims, through its partnership with the Saudi Federation for University Sports, to promote Dodgeball within Saudi universities. This initiative opens doors for discovering new talents and harnessing their potential to develop their skills in preparation for international participation.
