The CEO of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Hazani, crowned the winners of the Dammam Dodgeball Championship, which concluded at the Green Hall, with total prizes amounting to SAR 40,000.
In the Cloth Dodgeball competition, Spiders Club claimed first place and the gold medals, while Wales secured second place with the silver medals, and Shadows finished third with the bronze medals.
In the Foam Dodgeball category, Samurai A captured first place and the gold medals, followed by Fairy in second place with the silver medals, while Eagles earned the bronze.
In the Mixed Category, Shadows achieved first place and the gold medal, while Eagles took second place with silver, and Spiders settled for third place with bronze.
In the Under-18 Dammam Dodgeball Championship, Tuwaiq A won first place and the gold medal, with Al-Oruba Club taking the silver, and Tuwaiq B earning the bronze.
The total prize pool of the Dammam Dodgeball Championship amounted to SAR 40,000, with the first-place winner in each category receiving SAR 5,000, the second place SAR 3,000, and the third place SAR 2,000.
For his part, the CEO of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation affirmed that the sport is gaining growing attention from different segments of society across the Kingdom, as reflected in the increasing participation and strong public interest in following its competitions across many regions. This, he noted, motivates the Federation to further expand the scope of its tournaments in the coming period.
Al-Hazani added that the Dammam Championship is part of a series of regional tournaments organized by the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, which began with the Riyadh Championship and will continue with the Western Region Championship scheduled for October 9.
