On Thursday, the Summer Dodgeball Championship, organized by the Saudi Dodgeball Federation in cooperation with the Esports World Cup, will kick off and run until next Sunday.
The championship will be held as part of the events accompanying the Esports World Cup at Boulevard City in Riyadh. It will feature two categories: the Men’s “Cloth Ball” category for ages 16 and above, and the Men’s “Foam Ball” category for ages 14 and above.
The Cool Arena at Boulevard City in Riyadh will host the championship activities, offering the public the opportunity to try the sport on the sidelines of the competition.
The Summer Dodgeball Championship is part of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation’s efforts to promote the sport and expand its player base, leveraging this global event that attracts large crowds. Dodgeball has already achieved notable success in broadening participation in recent months through regional championships and school tournaments, which have drawn great interest from various age groups.
