His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Saud, President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, attended on Monday the introductory-day events for the sport of Wheelchair Dodgeball. The event was hosted by the Riyadh Club for Persons with Disabilities in cooperation with the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, and was held in the presence of the Federation’s Executive Director, Abdulaziz Al-Hazani.
This event is part of the social programs and activities offered by the Dodgeball Federation. As the very first of its kind, it reflects the Federation’s commitment to reaching this valued segment of Saudi society and to nurturing their talents and abilities—one of the key objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. Moreover, this new sporting experience for wheelchair users represents the Federation’s broader efforts to introduce the game, promote it, and expand its player base across all sectors of the Kingdom’s population.
On his part, the President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation extended his gratitude to the Riyadh Club for Persons with Disabilities for their constructive cooperation in delivering this new sporting experience, commending the club’s efforts to train and qualify athletes with disabilities.
Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Saud added that this event comes as a continuation of the Federation’s ongoing efforts and its steadfast dedication to collaborating with various entities and authorities throughout the Kingdom, all in service of Saudi sport and in support of achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
