Headed by His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Saud, President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, the Saudi dodgeball national team delegation arrived in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, to set up an external camp and participate in the Asian Dodgeball Championships (ADC) , which will start early next November.
The Saudi dodgeball Team is participating in the championship with 4 teams for the categories “Men, Women, Mixed, and Under 21 (Men)”, where the men’s team will compete against the teams of Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and India, the women’s team will compete against Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and China.
In the same context, the mixed team will compete against Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan, and finally the Under-21 team will compete against Malaysia, Hong Kong and India.
The mission includes 28 players as their names are: Fattoun Mansour Suwailem Al-Jaber, Hessa Ibrahim Al-Barrak, Ashwaq Abdulrahman Al-Subaie, Jude Jihad Ali Ashram, Hussein Fahmi Al-Rabi’, Aya Al-Darwish, Shadan Majed Al-Fahd, Mustafa Al-Muhaishi, Hadi Alawi Mahdi Al-Zawad, Khaled Abdo Mohammed Al-Shaeri, Sultan Mufi Al-Dosari, Moaz bin Salem bin Siraj Al-Qurashi Al-Maliki, Abdullah Mufi Mohammed Al-Dosari, Qamar Adel Al-Aliou, Jana Mohammed Al-Mutawa, Hussein Hassan Sharaf Al-Sada, Reham Omar Bashwayeh, Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Ghannam, Jaafar Abbas Jaafar Al-Alawi, Yara Mohammed Al-Samah, Hani Mohammed Al-Abd Rab Al-Nabi, Mujahid Mohammed Abdullah Al-Bakri, Walid Mohammed Hamoud Al-Shamrani, Abdulaziz Walid Al-Thunayan, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Shaeri, Mazen Rafaan Al-Qahtani, Basil Yousef Al-Sayed and Abdulmajeed Fahd Masrahi.
The mission also includes 6 members of the technical staff headed by the technical director of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, Hani Nabil Abdulmalik, and the coaches Jomoller Najib Issa, Ibrahim Muhammad Mahdi, Imad Abdul Sattar Muhammad Youssef, Nada Zain, and Ahmed Adnan Al-Soussi, in addition to 3 members of the administrative team, namely Abdulaziz Saad Al-Hazani, Laila Awad Al-Hamdi, and Majed Abdullah Al-Dosari.
For his part, His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al Saud, President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, stressed the importance of participating in the tournament as it will contribute to refining the experiences of the players of the national dodgeball teams, as they will face different schools at the level of the Asian continent in preparation for global participation, as the game has made great strides during the past period after the spread of its practice base in many regions of the Kingdom, which motivated the Saudi Dodgeball Federation to launch many regional tournaments that produced many young talents.
