The Executive Director of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, Abdulaziz Al-Hazani, crowned the winners of the Riyadh 2024 Dodgeball Championship, which was held in 3 categories “men, women and under-16”, with the participation of 25 teams included 215 male and female players.
The total prizes of the championship amounted to 45 thousand riyals, so that the team that won first place in each category received 7 thousand riyals, while the second place winner received 5 thousand riyals, while the third place winners received 3 thousand riyals each.
In the men’s competitions, the “Samurai” team won the gold medal, while the “Dark” team won the silver medal, while the “Shabab Club” team won the bronze medal.
The “Doggers” team won the gold medal in the women’s competitions, while the “Flame” team won the silver medal, and “Raging Fire” team won the bronze medal.
In the under-16 category, the “Samurai” team won first place and the gold medal, while the “Insomnia” team won the silver medal, and the “Rames” team won the bronze medal.
For his part, the Executive Director of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, Abdulaziz Al-Hazani, congratulated the winning teams, wishing success to the rest of the teams that participated in the tournament, whose participation reflected the wide spread of the game in many regions of the Kingdom.
This wide spread of the game is considered a harvest of the Federation’s efforts during the past period to introduce the game and expand its popular base and participate in its activities in the Kingdom.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Dodgeball Federation is preparing to hold two other tournaments during the current month “September 2024”, as it will hold a tournament in Jeddah on September 19 and another in Dammam on September 26.
