The Jeddah Dodgeball Championship will kick off on Thursday at the Green Hall in Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City, running from May 14 to 16, with the participation of 25 teams competing for a total prize pool of SAR 40,000.
In the Men’s Cloth category, teams competing include Al-Kawkab, Al-Anwar, Sudair, Al-Qurayyat, Jeddah International College, Al-Hejaz, and Al-Sahari. In the Women’s Cloth division, participating teams are Effat University, Smash, Smiley, BMC A, BMC B, Venom, and Dar Al-Hekma University.
For the Men’s Foam competition, teams include Al-Kawkab, Al-Anwar, Sudair, Al-Qurayyat, Jeddah International College, Al-Farouq, and Al-Sahari, while the Women’s Foam division will feature Smash, Smiley, Venom, and Havoc.
The Jeddah Championship is part of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation’s schedule for May, which features a range of training and competitive events across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. The most recent of these was the Riyadh Championship, which concluded last Saturday with the participation of 54 teams and 430 players.
The tournament also represents the final opportunity for many teams to secure the remaining qualification spots for the Kingdom Championship, following the qualification of eight teams in both the Cloth Ball and Foam Ball categories based on the results of the Riyadh and Dammam Championships.
