The Saudi Dodgeball national team achieved a historic continental accomplishment by winning the silver medal at, the 2025 Asian Dodgeball Championships in Malaysia, which concluded today, Sunday, after four days of competition.
This achievement is the first of its kind for Saudi Dodgeball history, as it crowning the significant progress the sport has witnessed in the Kingdom in recent years.
This progress is attributed to a remarkable increase in the number of players in the Kingdom and the continuous efforts of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation to promote the sport and discover talent.
The Saudi Dodgeball team delivered outstanding performances in all their matches during the Asian Championships, competing against some of the continent’s most experienced teams.
The Saudi team stars displayed high competitiveness and presented a commendable image of Saudi dodgeball, which is rapidly progressing towards continental competition despite its relatively recent establishment.
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Saud, President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, congratulated the Saudi team on this Asian achievement, praising the high level of performance they displayed throughout the tournament.
The president of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation added that this historic achievement of finishing as runners-up in Asia will motivate raising the bar for ambitions in upcoming international competitions, noting that this achievement will not be the first of its kind for the Saudi Dodgeball team, as the ambition is to continue efforts and achieve more accomplishments for the nation.
