His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Saud, President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, crowned the winning teams of the Kingdom’s Dodgeball Championship 2024, which was held in the Green Hall in Riyadh over two days, with total prizes amounting to 111,000 Riyals.
The championship witnessed a large participation of teams in the three categories “men – women – juniors of under-16 teams”, amid wide participation and strong competition that reflects the continuous spread of the game in the Kingdom.
Riyadh 2 team won the gold medal in the men’s competition, Riyadh 1 team came in second place to win the silver medal, and Dammam 2 team won the bronze medal.
In the women’s competition, Jeddah 2 team won the gold medal, while Dammam team won the silver medal and Riyadh team won the bronze medal.
Riyadh 2 team won the under-16 category competitions by achieving first place and the gold medal, while Jeddah team won the silver medal, and Riyadh 1 team won the bronze medal.
The first-place winner in each category received a cash prize of 15,000 riyals, while the second-place winner received 12,000 riyals, and the third-place team received 10,000 riyals.
For his part, the President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation congratulated the teams that won the Kingdom Dodgeball Championship awards, wishing success to all the teams that participated in the tournament, praising the wonderful levels presented by all teams in the various categories, which reflect the remarkable development of the game in light of the generous support from the wise leadership for the sports sector, which bodes well for a bright future for the game that has begun to attract many talents that will be the nucleus of the national teams in dodgeball.
